SemSolved exists to help students understand their Apex Learning and Edmentum coursework. This page explains how the Company expects the Service to be used, and why that expectation matters.
1 — What SemSolved Is For
SemSolved is a study assistant. It generates explanations meant to help you comprehend the concepts behind your coursework.
2 — What We Expect of Every User
Each school, program, and instructor sets its own rules on academic integrity, and many now publish specific rules on AI and study tools. Before using SemSolved in a course, read your school's honor code and your course policies, and confirm what they permit. If anything is unclear, ask your instructor. Whatever you submit for a grade is submitted under your name, and you are responsible for it.
3 — What We Do Not Condone
The Company does not condone:
- presenting work that is not your own in a way that breaks your school's rules; or
- using SemSolved on any assignment, quiz, or test where your instructor has prohibited it.
Use of that kind also breaches the SemSolved Terms of Service.
4 — Why This Matters
Coursework exists so that you learn the material, and later courses, exams, and careers assume that you did. Schools also enforce their integrity policies, with consequences that can include a failing grade, lost credit, suspension, or a lasting note on your academic record. Those consequences fall on the student, which is why the Company asks you to know your rules before relying on any study tool.
